In Upper Mustang Tour, Lo-mangthang lies on Mustang district, north western Himalaya of Nepal. It is on Tibetan plateau near to Nepal – Tibet border which is rich on Tibetan culture & ancient Buddhism is different than other part of Himalaya.  Upper mustang tour opened to foreigners in 1992 with some restricted rule to trek and tour around. It comes under restricted area which costs expansive trekking permit as compare with other trekking regions.

Upper Mustang Tour is one of the most popular spiritual destinations in Nepal Himalaya. The trekking route goes across desert landscape, barren ridges, deep canyons, eroded cliffs and moraine valleys. The trail is behind the Himalayas Annapurna & Dhaulagiri so we can have nice mountain views too. In Upper part of trekking trails there are mysterious castles & sites which brief you the culture of entire Himalaya. After Breakfast drive to Pokhara (6 Hours) by private vehicle. En route we will see more of countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain sceneries. Afternoon, we reach Pokhara. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara is city of lakes and has numerous beautiful lakes. We can explore the most accessible and beautiful, Fewa Lake during the afternoon -enjoy boating too. Explore, relax and dine by tranquil Lake Fewa. You can even do some shopping during evening hours. After Breakfast drive to Marpha which is on bank of Kali Gandaki River, enjoy hot spring at Tatopani and enjoy Rupse Water fall on the way O/N Guest house


After Breakfast drive to Jomsom which is headquarter of Mustang districts on the bank of Holy Kaligandaki River. It was also Trans-Himalayan salt trade route to Tibet before.  After short rest drive to ancient Bon Ri site- Lubra than drive to Kagbeni, visit one of the old shakya monastery – Kag Chode Thubten Samphel Ling Monastery and Secret hindu sites Tribeni where Hindus do some rituals all the time, the river from Holy Muktinath and River from famous spiritual lake Damodar Kunda meets at this place.In Kagbeni a major tributary, Kak Khola, coming from Muktinath, meets Mustang Khola, and from there the river is called the Kali Gandaki. After Breakfast Drive to Syanbochen and visit  Ramchung Cave( Chimsi Cave) where we can get Image of Holy Mt. Kailash inside the cave on the way in clear weather we can see great view of Tilicho Peak, Yakawa Kang and Damodar peak. Trek up to Syanbochen , after lunch drive to Ghame / O/N Guest house/BLD


After Breakfast drive village Dhakmar, decorated with sky caves around after drive to Ghar Gompa which is known as Lo Gekar Monastery is oldest monastery in Mustang, it is believed that it was built by Guru Rinpoche or Guru Padmasambhava on 8th century. This monastery has spiritual relationship with Samye monastery in Tibet, Samye monastery was built after Ghar gompa completed in Mustang.  Lo Gekar or Ghar gompa is related with Nyingma sect of Buddhism. After short rest drive to Luri Gompa which is on top to Hill near to Ghara. After lunch drive to Tsarang village which is second largest village in Upper mustang. Charanga village also have Monasteries Including huge white dzong and red Gompa and old palace O/N Guest house/ BLD



After breakfast drive to tangee Village which is situated on bank of river have beautiful landscape. This village is decorated with many mani walls and Chortens. After lunch drive back to Tsarang O/N Guest house/ BLD

After breakfast  Explore Tsarang than drive to Lo-manthang. Which is ancient Hidden kingdom on  Lo- Valley it is the magnificent, historical and spiritual place. Evening Visit around the village .O/N guest house/BLD

After breakfast drive to Chosar, visit Narphu and Gharphu Monasteries and dzong Cave which is historic cave from Last many centuries. All monasteries around these areas are historic belongs to Tibetan and Nepalese Buddhism, mostly monasteries belongs to Shakya after O/ N Guest house


After breakfast we explore the surrounding areas. Visit Namgyal Gompa and Tingkhar.  Namgyal Monastery is near from Lo-mangtang where as Tingkhar is further North West. After lunch visit the Tall Champa Lakhang “God house” the red Thugchen Gompa, Chyodi Gompa and the Entrance Hall which are the main attraction of Lo-Mangthang. O/N Guest house


After breakfast drive to Bharcha, according to history and local peoples there was four Buddhist schools or re-treat centers in upper mustang those are Ganden ling, Puntsog Ling, Ritse ling and Konchok ling, among them some are in good condition and restored as monastery, some of these re-treat sites (caves) has only significant sign inside due to soil erosion, Those places are dated more than 500 years, puntsog ling is the most damaged externally by climate change and human activities.  Konchok Ling cave is on steep part and need rope to climb. Walk around Barcha and drive back to Lo-mangthang . O/N Hotel


After breakfast drive to Muktinath area (Mukti Kshetra). In Sanskrit Mukti symbolize Salvation or Nirvana and Nath symbolize God. It is believed that pilgrimages should visit this temple after completing four spiritual sites “Chardham” of India .Multipath consists of Buddhist Gompa and the pagoda style temple of Vishnu with 108 waterspouts. Buddhist call this valley the chumig gyatsa and believe that Guru Rinpoche meditated and gained achievement of spiritual knowledge around 12th century.  Muktinath is one of the most spiritual places in Himalaya with different myths, Thousands of Hindus from India and Nepal visit Muktinath after their spiritual tour of other major spiritual tour as chardham and Mt.
